Number Plate Manufacturer
This van (T4YPT and now registered as SB08KKJ) has had its insurance changed to reflect the new number plate, today, 14th November 2024
Both David and Paul are insured to drive this van with the new registration SB08KKJ.
The new insurance police with amended registration is being sent out.
The corrections have been made to what the broker advises are changes that do NOT impact upon the validity of the insurance policy (Paul being married to Rachel!) etc…
Crucially, this van is still insured until October 2025 and MoT runs until 27th November 2024.
The van as SB08KKJ, IS insured for David and Paul, along with Russ to drive. Although within minutes of the £80 online number plate retention page being completed, the MoT details are no longer on the DVLA website as at 15.35 hours on 14th November 2024 for either T4YPT NOR SB08KKJ (that was very fast)…
Fortunately, within 24 hours, the DVLA system HAD UPDATED…

Very Efficient Number Plate Change
The only matters remaining are…
1]. Number plates require changing to: SB08KKJ.
2] An MoT Test needs to be booked to see if this van is economically viable to put through an MoT test (£500 max repairs).
Either way, the T4YPT/SB08KKJ van will be getting SOLD as it has done an excellent SIX years service in our ownership at 100% of the Noss Lighthouse renovations and 90% Sannox Hotel renovations.
Once the two properties at Tod Head are sold, and £240,000 funds are in the bank, a NEWER van will be bought similar to this one…
^^ Van #1 ^^
Time To Upgrade The Other Van in January 2025.
Two vans are needed for (i) the final 10% work to complete the Sannox Hotel project an (ii) to get Abbey Studios tidied up and ready for relaunch onto Rightmove.
Both Sannox Hotel and Abbey Studios set for work recommencing early in 2025. Hence the need for both Van1 and Van2 to be replaced by newer vehicles (Van1 as pictured above has already been upgraded by David and Paul).

This wee van served well at Noss Head Lighthouse Station and was left onsite so that the many visitors to the lighthouse station (including thieves) would see a vehicle parked there and think twice about the e risks of whether someone might be inside the buildings (when in fact they were completely empty and very vulnerable).
It was very obvious when NO vehicles were at Noss Head Lighthouse Station and the buildings had already been vandalised to derelict ruins in 1995.
So this an and number plate have a memorable provenance. Not least, but the first viewing at Noss Head from Carnoustie was made in this old piece of nostalgia…

The whole lighthouse station was subsequently bought on 23rd May 2018.
